These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Hypno4Life® website and all services offered through it, including individual sessions, Progress Packages, workshops, seminars, and group events. They form a binding agreement between you ("you", "Client", or "User") and Hypno4Life® (Berlin Hypnose Service). By using the website or booking a service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or book any services.
Additional terms may apply to specific workshops, group events, or training programmes. Where additional terms exist, they complement — and do not replace — these Terms. In the event of conflict, the additional terms take precedence for the specific service to which they apply.
1. Services
Hypno4Life® offers a range of personal development services including one-to-one hypnotherapy sessions, Progress Packages (structured multi-session programmes), Alignment Calls, and group events such as workshops and seminars. Sessions are delivered online via video call and, where available, in person.
Services utilise hypnotherapy techniques, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and other evidence-informed modalities. All services are intended to support clients in achieving personal goals and life shifts. They are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment, and Hypno4Life® does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or psychiatric condition.
Hypno4Life® reserves the right to decline or discontinue a service where it determines that it falls outside its scope of practice, or where a client's circumstances make it inadvisable to proceed. In such cases, the client will be informed as early as possible and any applicable refunds will be issued in accordance with Section 3.
2. Fees and Payment
2.1 Payment
All sessions and packages are paid in full at the time of booking. No booking is confirmed without prior payment. Payment in installments is not available unless explicitly agreed in writing.
2.2 Invoicing
Invoices are issued within thirty days following the session date, the start of a renewal period, or as otherwise specified. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes or duties unless stated otherwise.
2.3 Price changes
Hypno4Life® reserves the right to adjust fees periodically. Any changes take effect at the start of the next booking or renewal period. Clients will be given reasonable advance notice before the end of their current term.
2.4 Discounts and promotional pricing
Prices may include temporary discounts or promotional pricing, which may expire without further notice at the start of a renewal term. Hypno4Life® reserves the right to withdraw or modify any promotion at its discretion.
2.5 Alignment Call credit
Clients who book a standalone Alignment Call and subsequently purchase a Progress Package within 30 days of the call will receive a discount voucher equal to the cost of the Alignment Call, redeemable against the package price. This is because all Progress Packages include an Alignment Call, and this credit ensures clients do not pay for the same call twice. The voucher will be issued by email and must be applied at the time of package purchase; it cannot be redeemed retroactively.
3. Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling
All times refer to the scheduled start time of the relevant session. Cancellation and reschedule requests must be submitted via the link in your booking confirmation. Verbal or informal requests are not valid.
3.1 Individual sessions — cancellation
You may cancel an individual session and receive a full refund, provided the cancellation is received at least 48 hours before the scheduled session start. Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the session start are non-refundable.
3.2 Individual sessions — rescheduling
You may reschedule an individual session free of charge, provided the request is received at least 24 hours before the scheduled session start. Requests received less than 24 hours before the session cannot be guaranteed and are at the discretion of Hypno4Life®.
3.3 Individual sessions — no-shows
If you do not attend a session without prior notice, the session is forfeited. No refund or reschedule will be offered.
3.4 Progress Packages — 14-day money-back guarantee
All Progress Packages carry a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you decide a package is not right for you within this period, you may request a full refund regardless of whether any sessions have been scheduled. Once the 14-day period has lapsed, packages are non-refundable — even if sessions remain unused. Your remaining sessions continue to be available to book within the applicable validity period.
3.5 Progress Packages — shortened guarantee window
If you schedule your first package session within the 14-day guarantee period, the effective end of the cancellation window becomes 48 hours before that first session — whichever deadline falls earlier. By booking a session during the guarantee period, you confirm that you understand and accept that your remaining cancellation window is shortened accordingly. You will be asked to acknowledge this at the time of scheduling.
Example: you purchase a package on 1 June. The standard guarantee runs until 15 June. If you book your first session for 10 June, your cancellation window closes on 8 June (48 hours before the session). Requesting a refund on 9 June would no longer be possible.
3.6 Progress Packages — rescheduling
Individual sessions within a Progress Package may be rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Sessions missed without at least 24 hours' notice are deducted from the package and cannot be recovered.
3.7 Progress Packages — no-shows
If you do not attend a scheduled package session without prior notice, that session is deducted from the package and cannot be recovered.
3.8 Progress Packages — validity
Each Progress Package has a validity period, after which unused sessions expire. The validity period applicable to your package is displayed on the booking page and confirmed at the time of purchase. Validity periods may vary between package tiers and are subject to change for future bookings; the period confirmed at the time of your purchase governs your booking.
3.9 Workshops, seminars, and group events
Specific cancellation terms for group events will be communicated at the time of booking and confirmed in writing. Where no specific terms are provided, a full refund applies if cancellation is requested at least 7 days before the event; cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. Hypno4Life® reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a group event, in which case all registered participants will be offered a full reschedule or a full refund.
3.10 Cancellation by Hypno4Life®
If Hypno4Life® needs to cancel a session, you will be notified as soon as reasonably practicable and offered either a full reschedule at a mutually agreed time at no additional cost, or a full refund of the affected session (or a pro-rata refund for the relevant session within a package). Hypno4Life® is not liable for any costs beyond the direct fee paid, such as travel expenses or lost earnings. In cases of force majeure — including illness, accident, or circumstances outside reasonable control — the same options apply; however, Hypno4Life® reserves the right to prioritise rescheduling over refund where a suitable alternative can be offered within a reasonable timeframe.
3.11 Refund processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days of confirmation, via the original payment method where possible.
Summary of cancellation deadlines:
Individual session — full refund: cancel at least 48h before start
Individual session — free reschedule: request at least 24h before start
Individual session — no-show: forfeited, no refund
Progress Package — full refund: within 14-day guarantee (or 48h before 1st session, whichever is earlier)
Progress Package — reschedule: at least 24h before each session
Progress Package — no-show: session deducted, not recovered
Group events — full refund: at least 7 days before event (unless otherwise stated)
4. Client Information and Confidentiality
To deliver services effectively, Hypno4Life® requires clients to provide accurate information about their goals, health background, and relevant personal circumstances through the intake process. This information is used solely to assess suitability and guide sessions appropriately.
All client information is treated with strict professional confidentiality and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law, or in circumstances where there is a serious risk to the safety of the client or others. Where disclosure is legally required, Hypno4Life® will notify the client in advance where practicable.
If Hypno4Life® and a client have entered into a separate non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement, the terms of that agreement prevail. In the absence of such an agreement, confidential information includes all financial, technical, and personal information disclosed by either party that is designated as confidential or should reasonably be treated as such. Neither party will disclose, reproduce, or transfer the other's confidential information to any third party without prior written consent, except as required to fulfil the agreed services.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Hypno4Life® website — including text, graphics, photographs, audio materials, and software — is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights owned by or licensed to Hypno4Life®. No content may be reproduced, republished, distributed, transmitted, or otherwise exploited without the prior written consent of Hypno4Life®.
Each party retains all rights, title, and interest in their own intellectual property. Hypno4Life® retains all intellectual property rights in the services, methodologies, and materials it creates or uses in the delivery of services. Clients retain all intellectual property rights in the personal information and materials they provide.
6. Marketing and Media Use
During in-person or group events such as workshops, retreats, and seminars, photographs and video recordings may be taken for marketing and promotional purposes. By attending such events, you consent to the use of such materials by Hypno4Life® in its marketing channels, including social media, unless you have notified Hypno4Life® in advance that you do not wish to be photographed or filmed. Such notification can be made by email to legal@hypno4life.com before the event.
One-to-one sessions are never recorded or photographed without explicit written consent.
By engaging with Hypno4Life®'s services, you grant Hypno4Life® permission to reference the client relationship for promotional purposes — for example, in case studies or testimonials — using first name and initial only (e.g. "Jorrit J."), unless you have given explicit written consent to use your full name or likeness. Hypno4Life® will not make inaccurate claims about outcomes or misrepresent a client's experience. If you wish to opt out of any marketing use, please contact legal@hypno4life.com.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Hypno4Life® takes the privacy and security of your personal data seriously. The collection, use, storage, and protection of your personal information is governed by the Hypno4Life® Privacy Policy, available at:

By using the website or booking a service, you confirm that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and the Privacy Policy on matters of data protection, the Privacy Policy prevails.
8. Disclaimer
The information on the Hypno4Life® website is provided for general informational purposes only. While Hypno4Life® endeavours to keep information accurate and up to date, no warranty — express or implied — is given as to the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of any content. Any reliance you place on website content is at your own risk.
This website may contain links to third-party websites over which Hypno4Life® has no control. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement of the linked site or its content. Hypno4Life® accepts no responsibility for the content, availability, or practices of third-party sites.
Hypno4Life® takes no responsibility for temporary website unavailability caused by technical issues beyond its control.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hypno4Life® shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of its website or services — including, without limitation, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of opportunity — whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, even if Hypno4Life® has been advised of the possibility of such loss.
Hypno4Life® does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by its own negligence, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable German law.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the total fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Clients attending in-person sessions or group events in situations involving pre-existing medical conditions do so at their own risk. Hypno4Life® strongly recommends that clients seek medical advice before participating if they have any relevant health concerns. Please note that hypnotherapy is designed to facilitate a relaxed and receptive state of mind; if you do not wish to experience such a state, please do not participate.
All prices and fees published on the website are subject to correction in the event of typographical or programming errors. No contract is established based on such errors.
10. Consumer Rights (Germany)
Clients purchasing services online have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under German consumer law (BGB §312g in conjunction with §355). For services that begin within the withdrawal period, this right may be waived where the client gives explicit consent and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is lost once performance of the service has begun.
The 14-day money-back guarantee offered by Hypno4Life® on Progress Packages is at least as broad as this statutory right. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under applicable German law.
11. Amendments
Hypno4Life® reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The current version is always available at www.hypno4life.com/terms-conditions. Changes take effect from the date of publication and apply to bookings made after that date. Bookings made before an amendment are governed by the Terms in force at the time of booking.
If Hypno4Life® has reason to believe that a client has breached these Terms, it reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its services at its sole discretion.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Berlin, Germany. Each party irrevocably submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Litigation should be a last resort. Both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through direct communication before initiating legal proceedings.
